Julie’s illustration is vibrant, energetic, and playful. She likes to focus on character, symbolism, composition, and storytelling. She is currently developing a short film called “Fool” which is a parody of Shakespeare’s “King Lear.”
When she is not creating art, you may find her singing and playing music with her band “My Friend Larry,” traveling, photo blogging, or running around with her two dogs named Daffodil and Dandelion (Daffy and Dandy for short.)
